BONNETHEAD COLLECTIVE* is a BIPOC Photography collective that investigates the notion of limitless photography as a tool to bring exposure to various events, topics, and underrepresented photographers willing to develop and showcase their work under the medium.

In its name, bonnethead sharks are a subspecies of the popular hammerhead. However, mildly popular bonnethead sharks are a powerful allegory in the collective, giving bonnetheads (minority groups such as African Americans and Hispanics) in photography and campus circles the exposure, experience, and community they deserve.

In the collective, we collaborate to craft creative projects, host pop-ups for our coveted "Snap N' Gos," where you can take and print a photo in 5 minutes, and, all the more, bring opportunities to underrepresented artists in NYC.
Bonnethead Collective is here to create new experiences, uplift underexposed bonnetheads, and harbor a beautiful community that looks after one another.

To be a part of the community, join the Discord and engage with our socials for upcoming exhibitions!
